Proud custodians of Kirkdale's heritage
Set across five stunning Grade II listed Georgian terrace houses in Kirkdale, North Liverpool, Rotunda blends heritage with heart.
With its own green space and unique folly sculpture, it’s a place where history meets community. Inside, you’ll find a grand Georgian conference room, flexible office spaces for hire, the Rotunda Community College and our Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ nursery—all under one, ever-expanding roof.
The Heritage Centre
Where Kirkdale’s past comes to life—with a brew and a slice of cake.
Tucked inside Rotunda’s Georgian terrace, the Heritage Centre sits alongside our café bistro and beautiful wellbeing gardens. Step inside and you’ll find a pictorial exhibition that tells the story of Kirkdale—from its quiet rural beginnings in the 1800s to the vibrant community it is today.
The story is told through the voices of Jacko and Burnsy—two local lads who’ve seen it all and have plenty to say about how things have changed (and how they haven’t).
We’re open Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm. Drop in, explore the exhibition, and stick around for a cuppa and something sweet in the bistro.
The Bistro & Café
Fresh food, friendly faces, and the best brew in Kirkdale.
Our Café Bistro serves up homecooked breakfast, brunch and lunch—made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including herbs and produce from our own kitchen garden. We cater for all diets, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, pescetarian and gluten free.
Pop in for a proper coffee, a cuppa, or a slice of something sweet—all at wallet-friendly prices.
You’ll find us inside the Heritage Centre, with cosy indoor tables, patio seating, and easy access to our beautiful Wellbeing Garden.

Room hire at Rotunda
Looking for a professional, welcoming space in North Liverpool?
From meetings and training sessions to parties, conferences, and private functions, Rotunda has a range of flexible rooms available to hire, from just £15 per hour or £100 per day. All spaces come with free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, and fully accessible facilities. We also offer buffet and catering options for all dietary needs, including vegan, halal, and gluten-free.
For longer-term needs, our Enterprise Centre offers elegant serviced offices (2–7 desks), 24/7 access, private kitchens, discounted meeting room hire, and a calm working environment set within our Grade II listed Georgian terraces.
With flexible terms, on-site support, and strong community links, Rotunda is a unique and affordable home for work, events, and wellbeing.
The Garden Wellbeing Spaces
Our Community Wellbeing Garden is a calm and beautiful space, open to all.
Wander through the orchard, sit by the herbaceous borders, or explore the woodland area with its willow tunnel and story chair. There’s a kitchen garden, an alfresco banqueting table, and a dedicated concert garden for community events.
If you’re a counsellor or therapist, we also offer a private, fully furnished, ground-floor counselling suite—wheelchair accessible and set apart from the main college areas—providing a quiet, professional space to support your clients.
Wellbeing is a huge part of our ethos at Rotunda, and we’re always looking for ways to give back to the community by providing the most calm and supportive spaces.
